Dear Guest,
Where did July go? We hope you survived the hot, hot weather! In spite of the heat, our garden provided delicious tomatoes, cucumbers and egg plant for our dining guests.
The Carriage House’s exterior is complete. Next steps are HVAC, plumbing and drywall. It seems all local HVAC contractors are very busy with residential AC problems and we have to wait our turn. Open in late September, we will be able to accommodate up to 100 guests for:
- Business Meetings & Dining
- Seminars & Workshops
- Cocktail Parties
- Weddings and Reunions Note: It’s already reserved on October 22nd for a 65-guest wedding rehearsal dinner.
This month’s line-up includes Attitude Adjustment on the 13th featuring:
- Grilled Scallop Skewers
- Crab Spring Rolls
- Corn & Salmon Chowder
- Cognac-Marinated Beef Sliders
- Spinach & Goat Cheese Mushroom Caps
- Chicken Marengo, Olives, Capers, Wine Wine Tomato Sauce
On Thursday, August 19th, we present our annual "Lobster Night:"
- Fresh Café Garden & Lobster Salad
- Creole Shrimp and Lobster Bisque
- 1 ½ lb Lobster stuffed with Crabmeat
- Eastern Shore Corn and Red New Potatoes
- Seasonal Dessert
The price is $40 per person (plus tax and gratuity); reservations only.
Small plates cuisine is on the fourth Friday, August 27th, and we are celebrating with:
- Grilled Baby Back Ribs with Peanut BBQ Sauce
- Basil Red Potato Salad
- Grilled Fish Burrito with Summer Salsa
- Eastern Shore Crab Imperial Salad
- Spicy Corn on the Cob
- Avocado Cheesecake
Completing our schedule: Tuesday - Surf or Turf Night Dinner, 5:00 - 8:30pm; Wednesday Night Pasta, 5:00 - 8:30pm (Reservations are strongly recommended); Friday and Saturday Dinner 5:00 - 8:30pm, and Sunday Brunch 10:30am – 1:30pm. Paul and I look forward to seeing you soon!
In conclusion, Paul and I are grateful and wish to thank you for your expressions of sympathy on the death of Paul’s father. It is greatly appreciated.
